THE CHALLENGE

Cleaned up the funnel. Prioritise Amplifying what was working organically into a Cold Paid Acquisition Strategy, leaning on there already strong retention/organic strategy to support LTV. prioritise a flow scope & strong email campaign structure for loyalty and retention.

Test new creative variations (founder-led, PTC, BTS) and give the Motorino Team a voice to hone in on relatability. Consistency over quality. Unpolished relatable content scaled into an ad account with 70%-80%+ ad spend on net new.

Introducing multi-channel (Google) to meet customers where they’re at in their purchase journey particularly in the menswear space

THE STRATEGY

THE TRANSFORMATION

Over the last 12-months alone:

  1. Spend grew +64.4% and drove outsized returns. Revenue more than doubled on platform (+124.6%) while ROAS improved from 8.31x to 11.35x - meaning every dollar spent is working harder.

  2. Purchases nearly doubled (+80.7%) despite reaching roughly the same number of accounts, driven by significantly improved click-through and engagement rates.

  3. Video content is a standout driver. Video views more than doubled (+107.2%), with 30-second completions also up +101.1% - indicating strong creative performance and audience resonance.

  4. The full funnel is healthier. View Content is up +176.3%, Add to Cart +92.7%, and cost efficiencies improved at every stage despite a more expensive media environment.

THE RESULTS
Over the last 12-months alone:

AOV jumped +26%

A strong signal that breaking out of hats (low AOV) into apparel (knits, tees, shirts) is strong. The prior period top products were mostly hats and a couple shirts; the current period is dominated by knits at much higher price points.

New customer acquisition was the engine

New customers grew ~201%, directly validating the cold acquisition strategy.

Revenue more than tripled (+250%)

Suggesting on top of Meta Growth, the Google multi-channel strategy and organic/email retention work contributed meaningfully beyond paid social alone.
